Local charity launching exciting new poetry competition with big prizes!

Hospice Hope is delighted to announce an exciting new summer poetry competition, which opens on July 1st for all children of primary school age living in North West Leicestershire. The theme is "HOPE" and children are encouraged to explore ideas around what this word means to them.

They are looking for crafters to show off their work, the more diverse the better!

Children U11 are asked to decorate a pebble or create a novelty vegetable.£2 for up to 5 entries, children free!

They are also looking for anyone who would like to do a short demonstration of their craft on the day.

Leicestershire County Council Highways has agreed to a Temporary Traffic Regulation Order at the above location.
A road closure is required on Leicester Road at the junction of High Street from the 28th May 2019 for two weeks.

The Temporary Traffic Regulation Order will be implemented for public safety for Severn Trent Water to facilitate sewer repairs and replacement.
