Two males who say they are working for Birmingham Midland Tree Surgeons based in Sutton Coldfield have operated in the village.

They claimed to be working on behalf of the council however they persuaded a resident to pay for unnecessary tree work to be carried out at an inflated price with a promise to return the next day to clear the debris and provide a receipt.

ADVANCE NOTICE OF A TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER.

A Temporary Traffic Regulation Order (TTRO) is to be made for the following locations:


 Burton Road, Measham (see attached plan).
 Burton Road, Oakthorpe (see attached plan).


The purpose of the TTRO is to allow Leicestershire County Council to facilitate carriageway patching works.
